we got into a discussion about personality types at work yesterday. when i outed myself as an I, my coworker responded, "you're an I?? no way, i definitely thought you were an E."

i said "thank you, i put a lot of work into appearing that way."

what does it mean that my perception of myself is so different from how others perceive me?

more fun questions

i work with small children. the other day we were eating lunch and two of the girls in the 5-8 block (one was 5, the other 7, i believe) asked me the following questions:

"can girls marry other girls?"

"if you're not married, can you have a baby before you get married?"

....

i don't like to lie. but i also want to keep my job. yay for long pauses before tiptoeing around technically true but very vague answers!

today's fun question:

"so are you allowed to have a boyfriend and a girlfriend at the same time?"

question:

how is it possible to look at someone and say you know her better than she knows herself? isn't this a little presumptuous....unfair....insulting.
