Because I really want to comment on the post above:
Things are only as important as you make them. While your insight is certainly useful and important, the simple realization of how things are, or how things seem to be, does not mean that you need to do what other "grown-ups" have done simply because it's the way of tradition. Start a new tradition, perhaps one of inspiration or confidence in the basic goodness of humanity.
Please don't ever lose your poet's voice. The world needs to hear what you have to say.
